Socialise in a healthy, casual and fun way
How it works
Sessions include equipment, water, snacks and more - no need to do anything other than sign-up, pay and have fun!
Currently, we offer two types of sessions, new sport every week and casual.  To find out what's available navigate to our home page and filter events based on your preferred location, sport, date and type. After you have paid you will automatically be sent an email containing the event details, as well as a link to join the event's WhatsApp group
All the steps to make the most out of a Social Sports session:
  1. Secure your place 
  2. Introduce yourself in the WhatsApp group and ask any questions you have
  3. Turn up 5 minutes early and meet everyone
  4. Event lead explains the sport, rules and basic skills
  5. Warm up and games 
  6. (Optional) restaurant or café afterwards


We encourage all participants who are attending an event for the first time to reach out to the event lead with any questions they have. We will do our best to accommodate and settle the first time nerves. 
New Sport Every Week (NSEW)
After every event, suggestions are collected for the next weeks sport. On Mondays we release a poll based on these suggestions in the NSEW WhatsApp group. The winning sport is announced on Wednesdays.
These events are designed to be social and are similar to the casual ones in that all abilities are welcome. Everyone is there to have fun and try something new while being surrounded by a supportive group.

To vote you must have already attended a NSEW event and be in the WhatsApp group.
Casual
These sessions are designed for people to meet new people and socialise while playing a sport you're interested in.
Each session is sport-specific, and held weekly at the same time and location - either after work or at the weekend.

Casual events are determined by demand. If enough people like you want to play a certain sport every week then we do. If there are any you would like to play please request them on the home page.
Cambridge Casual Sports
Currently we offer four sessions per week in Cambridge though we are always looking to increase this with a weekly casual tennis session coming soon.
➡️ Monday - Casual Badminton - University of Cambridge Sports Centre - 6 pm for 1 hour
➡️ Tuesday - Casual Climbers - Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre - 7:30 pm (open until 11 pm) - led by Jacob
➡️ Wednesday - "Conversational Pace" Run Club - Mitcham's Corner - 7 pm for ~30 minutes - led by Matt
➡️ Sunday - New Sport Every Week (NSEW) - Varies - Varies
